In 2005, I founded Thou Shall Snack with the goal of recreating the traditional Jewish foods I grew up with in a line of all-natural, baked, kosher certified snack foods. 

My passion for Jewish foods was sparked by my Grandma Rose. As a young girl I looked forward to visiting my Grandma's house, where endless plates of homemade Jewish pastries and delicacies awaited me. Having noticed my enthusiasm for these baked morsels, Grandma Rose encouraged me to invent original names for them. I took great pride in seeing these duly-named edibles devoured at family gatherings and was particularly pleased when I heard people ask Grandma Rose, "Now what do you call this cookie?"

It was not a big surprise to those who knew me when, more than 15 years later, I began developing a line of Jewish-inspired snack foods. I thought about the Jewish foods I ate as a child and wondered what would happen if I put a new spin on them. I spent many hours in the kitchen perfecting my first product, Latke Crisps. Encouraged by feedback from friends and family, I established Thou Shall Snack and set out to let people everywhere try my Jewish-inspired treats.

Today Thou Shall Snack's signature product, the world's first Latke Crisp, is available in delis, specialty stores and supermarkets nationwide. Our newest creation, Babka Bites, is already receiving heavenly praises. Soon we’ll be back in the kitchen experimenting with new twists on time-honored Jewish fare. So it won't be long before we introduce more new products. Thou shall check back frequently!
